Third US Presidential Debate: The real winner was moderator Chris Wallace!
Two very poor candidates again delivered a very poor debate. No deep policy discussions and plenty of personal jibes was again the order of the day.
Funny thing is that Trump actually made some great points, using the best ngeotiators rather than relying on politicans to negotiate trade deals for example, but these little victories get lost by his inability to communicate the vast majority of his message effectively.
The bigger winner in this third debate, however, was moderator Chris Wallace. I think Trump is a joke but even I had to admit he didn't get a fair shake in the first two debates. This time though Wallace was so even handed that neither candidate could turn around and say they were disadvantaged in any way. A true moderator and not once did I feel his personal politics was in anyway influencing what he asked and more importantly how it was asked. Good job!
Interesting to see what happens between now and November 8th. Still think Trump is being totally underestimated and convinced the pollsters have got their current polls wrong. Expect this to be far closer than the poundits are currently suggesting.
